The Laundry, Distribution and Food Service Joint Board represent members in the private and public sector in NJ, CT, and NY.
Our members are politically active and voluntarily make contributions to Workers United for Political Power, a Political Action Committee (PAC) dedicated to raising standards for all workers and enhancing the quality of life for our communities.
Our members advocate for a just society by supporting policies that empower immigrants and advance racial justice.
Our members are focused on winning concrete gains for working people. We support candidates who fight so all workers have good jobs, living wages and the right to join a union.
Our members have exceeded their political contribution goals two years in a row and regularly canvass in their communities to ensure elected officials are supporting our goals.
