Our Union is part of the movement to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Our members in NY, NJ, and CT are consistently mobilizing, testifying in hearings and lobbying to their local representatives.
The Union launched two campaigns Laundry 
Workers fight for $15 and Warehouse Workers fight for $15. These campaigns allow us to highlight the work our members do while increasing standards for all workers. We are proud that New York City passed legislation that will bring the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The fight continues, workers that work upstate NY, CT and NJ still do not have a minimum wage. We are going to be fighting for minimum wages in those areas.
